Walking Profilers Are a Portable Solution
Walking profilers are the reference devices that certify inertial profilers. These systems can measure roughness at a walking speed which high accuracy and repeatability.

Inertial Profilers
Inertial systems can quickly collect pavement profiles within the wheelpaths at vehicle speeds. The inertial profilers can easily add texture and cross-slope measurement. If slow speed are required, the Zero-Speed upgrade would allow for collections between 0-100 mph.

Survey Profilers Capture Profile and Point Clouds
The CS9500 and CS8770 Survey Profilers allow for over 350 elevation points to be collected at each transverse sample – usually 2-inches longitudinally. These systems can have a low resolution of 5mm x 5mm at slow speed.
