SSI’s portable GPS-DMI uses the same electronics as SSI’s high speed profiling equipment. With accuracies within 0.03% and repeatability of 0.1% the CS1100 presents distance measurements to determine station location on a project and estimate work. The system uses a powerful GPS board and has options to connect to existing SSI profilers to replace the distance wheel, connect to the OBD-II port when GPS reception is lost, or log GPS within the SSI program.
