ADA Access
Overview
SSI has two options designed for sidewalk ADA compliance: CS8600 and CS8900.
Road Pavements
The two ADA compliance profilers from SSI are the CS8600 Ultra Light Profiler and the CS8900 ADA Compliance Walking Profiler. The two systems use the same software to analyze the data, however the main difference is the speed of collection. The CS8600 can travel up to 15mph while the CS8900 collects data at walking speed.
For the large sidewalk network collections SSI recommends the CS8600.
Each system can capture ROW images and export the compliance data to GIS.
